The Minnesota Vikings have requested interviews with three more candidates for their general manager position: Detroit Lions assistant general manager Ray Agnew, Denver Broncos assistant GM Reed Burckhardt, and Miami Dolphins assistant GM Kyle Smith, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media.

Agnew joined the Lions in 2021 when Brad Holmes took over as GM. Before that, he served as director of player personnel for the Los Angeles Rams.

Burckhardt became the Broncos’ director of player personnel in 2022, but he previously spent 13 years with the Vikings as a pro scout.

Smith is in his first season with the Dolphins after holding the same role with the Atlanta Falcons from 2023 to 2025. He climbed the ranks within the Washington Commanders organization from 2010 to 2020, eventually becoming vice president of player personnel before moving to the Falcons in 2021.

With these additions, the Vikings now have nine external candidates under consideration, along with internal candidate Rob Brzezinski. The other external candidates include Los Angeles Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander, San Francisco 49ers assistant GM RJ Gillen, Buffalo Bills assistant GM Terrance Gray, Los Angeles Rams assistant GM John McKay, Seattle Seahawks assistant GM Nolan Teasely, and Tennessee Titans assistant GM Dave Ziegler.
