Tunisian coach Faouzi Benzarti described this season with Club Africain as one of the most difficult of his coaching career, noting that the team faced significant pressure and constant disruption from the very start of the competition.
Benzarti stated that what he called “targeting Club Africain” gave the players extra motivation to fight and show strong character. He confirmed that the group managed to overcome all obstacles to remain at the top of the Tunisian league standings until the final stretch of the season and ultimately clinch the title.
The veteran coach compared the difficulty of this season to what he experienced with the team in 1990, praising his players’ spirit and their ability to handle tough conditions. He noted that this journey has further cemented his status as one of the most prominent coaches in Tunisian football history. Concluding his remarks, Benzarti confirmed he will stay with the club in the upcoming period, stressing his desire to continue the technical project after the success achieved this season.
