Napoli 4-0 Cremonese
Napoli put their recent struggles behind them with a commanding performance, temporarily reclaiming second place in Serie A. Antonio Conte’s side thrashed Cremonese 4-0, pushing back Inter Milan’s potential Scudetto clinching for at least another matchday. With a nine-point gap and 12 points still available, Inter cannot celebrate this weekend, and Napoli could still force a playoff scenario.

McTominay celebrates his goal against Cremonese.
The home side took just two minutes to open the scoring. A swift attacking move orchestrated by De Bruyne’s assist ended with McTominay firing a low diagonal shot from the edge of the box. The reigning Serie A MVP was back to his best, and Napoli never looked back, erasing doubts after losing to Lazio and drawing with Parma.
Before halftime, Hojlund doubled the lead—though with a stroke of luck. His shot deflected off a defender and then off Terracciano, leaving Audero helpless. The decisive third goal came in first-half stoppage time, as De Bruyne capped off a superb opening period with a finish of his own.
Napoli wanted more and continued to push. Alisson Santos made it 4-0 early in the second half with a brilliant solo run. The Partenopei had a chance to complete a five-goal rout, but McTominay saw his penalty saved by an inspired Audero. The 4-0 scoreline was more than enough to secure the victory.
